Utah National Parks Trip - Packing Lists

Utah National Parks Trip - Packing Lists

This summer, two friends decided to squeeze in a trip to Utah and Arizona to see a few of the national parks there before I moved to the rainy and relatively flat emerald isle. Honestly there is no place on earth like the beautiful parks of Utah, I'd recommend everybody visit these places. You don't have to be an avid hiker to hit all of these, there are easy to difficult routes at all of them.

Our route:

Day 1: Bay Area > Las Vegas (overnight with family)

Day 2: Las Vegas > Zion National Park (overnight in Zion)

Day 3: Zion > Bryce Canyon National Park (overnight in Zion)

Day 4: Bryce > Arches National Park (overnight in Moab, town next to Arches)

Day 5: Arches > Paige, AZ - Grand Canyon Horseshoe Bend (overnight in Paige)

Day 6: Paige > Bay Area (looong day of driving)

Although it was fast paced, I did like the length of our trip. I maybe would have spent an extra day in some places, but probably don’t need to go back to horseshoe bend, because it was beautiful, but there’s not much more to it.

I’ve done a page for Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Horseshoe Bend. But this page is mostly the overview of our trip, and what we packed for a 6 day camping trip.

We borrowed a massive tent from my parents to house all of us during our trip, which was obviously very helpful and let your girl save money on that front.
